General Rules
- League Structure and Eligibility
- Age Grouping (Age Cutoff: Must be age for the league on April 30th)

- Team Assignment and Registration
- Team Naming: Assigned by the Equipment Manager and Commissioner (using Major and Minor League Team names).
- Player Assignment: Assigned by Commissioners with the goal of balanced talent and competition.
- Registration: Proof of age is required prior to team assignment.
- No Trading: Trading of players is not permitted.
- Manager and Safety
- Manager Eligibility: A Manager may manage only one in-house team (Clinic is exempt).
- Player Safety Removal: If a player is deemed incapable of protecting themselves, the Manager reports it to the Commissioner. The Commissioner may remove the player and place them in the next lower age group.

- Game Length and Curfew
- Length
- 8-prep - 5 innings
- 9-10 & 11-12 - 6 innings
- 13-16 - 7 innings
- Official Game All Leagues - 4 full innings (3.5 if home team leads)
- Run Limit (Six-Run Rule)
- A half-inning is completed when the defensive team records three outs OR the offensive team scores six runs.
- Batter Rule: If the sixth run scores before a batter completes the plate appearance, that batter leads off the next inning (0-0 count).
- Unlimited Run Exception: The six-run limit is suspended in the last scheduled inning (5th for 8U, 6th for 9-12, 7th for 13-16) and all extra innings.
- Curfew (No New Inning Start after):
- April Games: 7:45 PM
- May Games: 8:00 PM
- June Games: 8:15 PM (Playoff cutoff is 8:30 PM)
- Pre-Game Procedures and Forfeiture
- Forfeiture: A team must field at least eight players. Failure to do so 15 minutes after the official start time results in forfeiture.
- Practice Times (6 PM Weekday Games): Visitors (5:20-5:40 PM); Home (5:40-6:00 PM).
- Benches: Home Team occupies the third base bench.
- Postponements and Make-up Games
- Interrupted Games: Games terminated before becoming official will be continued from the point of termination.
- Make-up Game Curfew: Make-up games cannot exceed two hours (no batter after two hours).
- 13-16 League Exception: The 2-hour curfew does not apply to 13-16 League make-up games.
- Priority: Make-up games take priority over scheduled practices.
- Equipment and Uniforms
- Uniforms and Attire
- Required: Players must wear the full issued uniform (shirt, cap, socks) to play. Shorts are not permitted.
- Protective Equipment (Mandatory)
- Helmets: NOCSAE certified helmets are required when batting and running the bases.
- Catchers: Must wear athletic supporter, protective cup, mask/helmet, shin guards, and chest protector while catching or warming up pitchers.
- Bat, Glove, and Spike Regulations
- Bat Size and Composition
- 8-Prep, 9-10 & 11-12
- Size: 2 ⅝ inch max barrel size
- No composite barrels
- 13-16 League
- Must meet LL/NFHS standards. NFHS compliant bats may be composite.
- Spikes: No metal spikes are allowed in any league.
- Player Participation and Rules
- Defensive Participation
- Sitting Rule: No player sits consecutive innings, and no player sits more than one inning until all others have sat at least one inning. Penalty: Game forfeiture.
- Substitution: Free defensive substitution is permitted.
- Playing Up (Younger Players)
- Consent: Requires parent/guardian consent each time the player plays up.
- Position Restriction: May play only the outfield. May not pitch.
- Nine-Player Fill-In Limits: A brought-up player has limits: bat last, play only outfield, max 3 defensive innings, max 1 at-bat.
- Pitching Rules
- Limit: Max three (3) innings pitched per player per calendar day.
- Max two pitching turns per game.
- Counts as a turn after the 1st pitch thrown.
- If a manager or coach removes a pitcher from the game, he may remain in the game at another position. If a player is removed from pitching before having played in the game at least three innings, he cannot pitch again until at least three innings are completed.
- Hit Batters: Two in one inning, or three in one game: pitcher must be removed.
- Base Running and League Specific Rules
- Bunting
- 8-Prep & 9-10 - Not permitted
- 11-12 & 13-16 - Permitted
- Stealing / Leading
- 8-Prep & 9-10 No stealing or leading off. No advancement on wild pitch
- 11-12 - may advance once balls crosses plate
- 13-16 - standard NFHS rules apply
- Dropped third strike
- 8-Prep, 9-10 & 11-12 - not permitted
- 13-16 - permitted
- Infield Fly Rule
- 8-Prep & 9-10 - Does not apply
- 11-12 & 13-16 - Rules apply
- All-Star Games
- All-Star Game Rules
- Player Selection: Minimum two players per team. Players must have played in at least half of their team's games.
- Playing Time: Must play the first 4.5 or the last 4.5 innings and no more, unless covering a missing/injured player.
- 13-16 League Exception: Identified players may play the entire game with Commissioner approval.
- Pitching: Max two innings per player.
- Ties: If tied after nine innings, the game ends in a tie.
- Administration and Conduct
- Sportsmanship and Conduct
- Time Out: Only Managers and Coaches may request time out.
- Base Coaches: Any player coaching a base must wear a protective batting helmet.
- Prohibited Conduct: No smoking on the field by Managers/Coaches. Only Managers/Coaches may address the Umpire.
- The addressing of remarks by Managers and Coaches to players of opposing teams is prohibited.
- Protests and Post-Game
- Protest Procedure: Only decisions regarding rules interpretation may be protested. Contact League Commissioner within 24 hours of game to register protest.
- Reporting: Managers report the final score and umpire ratings via the Game Submission form.
- Playoffs and Championships
- League Winner: Team with the best regular season winning percentage.
- Game Length: Must be at least six innings (seven innings in 13-16 League). Suspended games are continued from the point of suspension.
